How We 1.5x’d Users in One Month

We 1.5x’d our users in 30 days—but the real win was how we got there. If you're planning a launch, here's what worked for us. Our company launch posts got us... - 151% users MoM - 17k impressions - 1k reactions - 350 comments - 140 reposts total on socials. Most people think that merely getting your company headlined on major publications is enough. But a lot of the work to get the widest reach possible happens of the amplification of those publications close to and on launch day. Particularly, it’s leveraging your already existing cheerleaders to help! —— BEFORE LAUNCH I emailed our network—investors, early customers, friends, family—1 week and 1 day ahead of launch. → Content of email: exact launch date (on the subject line), a heads-up on the post timing, and how to help. → We got people excited and that was really motivating. I was pleasantly surprised at how many people were rooting for us to succeed 😊 → (Examples of our actual emails in comments) —— ON LAUNCH DAY 1. We hosted a live “launch party” on Zoom with our team and close supporters. → We hit publish together. As soon as the post was live, everyone jumped in to like, comment, and repost. → The first 30 minutes matter a lot to trigger LinkedIn’s algorithm. We focused on that window. 2. We made it ridiculously easy for people to help. → Our launch email had direct links to the post, step-by-step instructions, and copy-paste blurbs. (Examples of our actual emails in comments) → For friends who wanted to add their voice, we even included simple ChatGPT prompts to personalize the message. 3. I blocked my ENTIRE day just for amplification. → I replied to every comment as fast as I could. → I posted on ALL the relevant communities I could find (ex. founder communities I was a part of) → I used the momentum to pitch new publications—we ended up landing 3 more features post-launch. —— AFTER LAUNCH We closed the loop. → I followed up with everyone who helped, shared results, and celebrated the outcome. → People love knowing they were part of something that worked. —— TAKEAWAY The real magic of a launch is in how you amplify it—before, during, and after. What worked for us wasn’t just being loud. It was being organized, personal, and deliberate about how we shared the moment with people who were default rooting for us to succeed. ❤️ View original post on LinkedIn.
